What You Need

1 cup (240ml) warm water or unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (or 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger)
1/8 teaspoon black pepper (freshly cracked is best)
1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil or ghee (optional, helps with absorption)
Step 1

Warm your water or almond milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Don't boil it. You want it hot enough to drink comfortably.

Step 2

Stir in the coconut oil if using. It will melt into tiny golden pools on the surface.
