What You Need

6 large lemons (about 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice)
1/2 cup cane sugar or raw honey
8 cups filtered water (room temperature)
2 tablespoons fresh whey (optional, as starter)
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Step 1

Juice 6 large lemons to yield approximately 3/4 cup fresh juice. Remove any seeds.

Step 2

Add filtered water and stir again. If using whey, add it now and stir to combine.
