What You Need

1 gallon filtered water
8 black tea bags (or 2 tablespoons loose-leaf black tea)
1 cup white granulated sugar
2 cups unflavored store-bought kombucha (raw, unpasteurized)
Step 1

Boil 4 cups of filtered water. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 7 minutes, then remove tea bags.

Step 2

Pour sweet tea into a clean 1-gallon glass jar. Add 2 cups store-bought kombucha as starter tea.
